They're down. They are moving to a new web host.

Sorry that I don't know much more than that.

And some wise words from a wise man. :P

Silver Spire forums are here: http://www.forums4free.net/Spire/

I had trouble loading them earlier today, but that location seems to work now.
So much fun,
yet so little time to enjoy it.

The forums will soon be moving from their less-than-adequate current locale (hosting loss prompted the rapid move) to a dedicated hosting facility within the next couple of weeks.

Of note: The server will also be changing locations (and IP) on Friday 03/04/05 @1200hrs CST.

Is this a new Forum?

It doesn't seem to know me any more

Forgotten, cast off, thrown away, they don't seem to want me any more

Oh quit whining, Nighthawk.... :D

Yes, you'll need to re-register on the new forums (bleh). Don't worry, if all goes well, we won't be there for long and will set up house in nice, new, shiny, tidy forums like we were before. We'll post the new location as soon as it's finalized.

I think NH's worried about his post count being transferable or not.

LOL

More a question of some of the actual posts than the postcount.

Who cares about the actual postcount?

When the move to the new forums happens we'll be able to upload our database from the old forums to the newer ones. This should restore all the old threads (and post counts  ) to where they were before.

It's not in Australia.

The server is hosted by a colo here in the U.S.

It's only the owner of the server that's an Aussie. ;P
