the point i made was when spamming hips. It is also consider very shitty if someone hips, hits, then hips again etc whether you change position or not, this is for CVC of course, im sure no one will mind you kicking the shit out of the dwarf mers hehe.

Says the man who I tried to duel who attacked, hipsed, attacked, hipsed, attacked, hipsed which actually meant that the game engine didn't let me get a single attack in or target...

which was a friendly Dual, and this was after i let him beat the shit out of me, with darkfire, GMW, and other buff spells, as well as a shield etc.

in proper CVC i do not do this....unless its Rhiss, then of course thats different.

Now I am not trying to pick you apart but just trying to add clarity and my opinions.

This is what I refered to as Spamming HIPs. By Stealth, Hit, disengage, HIPS, Hit, Disengage, HIPS ad naseum is not good form.

If you change position and do things as best you can you CAN use in CvC combat and I consider fine tactics. Taking HIPS away from a SD is so out of character I would say you bring it to PvP and not CvC. A shadow dancer would use hit and fade tactics wheither against PC's or NPC's. Just against NPC's you don't have to be as careful about your RP but you still should for consistency.

I agree with you. But imo when you play this game you have to take the other person in to perspective, are they having fun etc etc.

And i DO use hips to fight, i hips in, get a few sneak, then usually get the shit beaten out of me. this is the point when i use hips again to heal myself, or get in a better position. but to be honest i think we are arguing the same point :D

I also like to come out of stealth by using knockdown

Getting someone flatfooted is great and you get great sneaks attacks for a bit. But that is just me.

Note that while you do not need to restealth after being detected - moving out of visible range is fine - it still may be more advantagageous to drop the stealth mode anyway... as you'll likely be more concerned with running for cover.
