I did the same thing, but I had kept a copy of the original 1.64 NWN main and NWN exe (just to be safe, wasn';t sure which one it altered.
After the patch was aborted, I just plopped the originals back into the NWN directory and ran the updater again.
No problems.
. - no need to get the critical build.

You know, if you forget to use the original file before patching, after the download it will tell you the patching failed, which will make you download it all again (and if you have a slow connection that's very bad).
But if you look in the neverwinter folder your patch will be there, but it won't be a Zip file, so you need to put it into one, and change that file's name to the name the update is supposed to have if you download it from the bioware site
This is probably common knowledge, but when I found this out I bragged about it for a long time... ask srn

Yup me too. Did exactly the same. Once I'd realised my error, I just went back to the originals and re-ran updateCymbolism wrote:I did the same thing, but I had kept a copy of the original 1.64 NWN main and NWN exe (just to be safe, wasn';t sure which one it altered.

Is there a NoCD for the new version yet please?
I suppose if I can't fix the Linux version yet, I will have to take the plunge and update the Windows one. Thanks for the warnings about the NoCD crack removal.

Life is never as bad as you think it is, although that doesn't help at the time.
