Ranger becoming Champion?

Post by Vosche » Fri Nov 12, 2004 9:04 pm

My question to the Devs, et al., does the Rangers Dual Wield add-on fulfil the 'Two Weapon Fighting' requirement of the Champion?

The book says Dual Wield 'simulates' Ambidexterity and Two Weapon Fighting... that might not mean the same thing.

Thanks in advance for input!

It doesn't.. you need the actual feats to make the requirements, due to the engine.

Keyword is "simulates", not the actual thing.

Technically(at least in 3E) the dual-wield feats are supposed to count towards any class that requires them.

NWN doesn't work that way, hence the limitation on Champion.(That and the description of the class makes it sound like the ranger feat wouldn't work.)
