My policy: Whatever you do it is generlal know that looting isn't a thing that we like. just don't do it. You will have fun but I will have a hart attack....

What people don't like is when they are killed by an NPC somewhere, then when they get back, all their stuff has gone. They have no way of knowing who did this and it annoys the hell out of people that have been playing for 18 months or so getting those things (PS DM's can tell who did it)

so ... don't take anything from a body you did not kill yourself. and then ... make sure you engage in TELLs with the player involved, so they are aware of what is happening. Having an in-game way of getting some items back can be fun, having no way of getting all your stuff back is not.

In general ... try to make it more fun for the most people possible. This is a team game, and there's no I in team

(though there is a "me" if you look hard enough - ?David Brent)
