Imagine a true beholder (10 eyestalks) having slam attacks with all his stalks, each for 1 damage...+ Darkfire...+ Flame Weapon...+ GMW...+...+...+...

I have tested it twice now after being told by folks who seem to adamantly believe that it works together and, Darkfire and flameweapon dont stack.

Now unless my particular character or GUI is screwed on this single issue, or flameweapon and darkfire do not work together.

The weapon lists both as a temporary bonus when examined, but the stronger of the two overwrites the weaker, it does not add.

dark fire is a good cleric spell. I did not even realize its potential until a few weeks ago. In the spell description it says that it immolates a nonmagical weapon. So I did not even bother trying to cast it on my +1 sword (I thought it was magical). Then I realized it did work with that and now my cleric can seriously be a good fighter too. And it does work on animals and summons. I have tried it and it seems to work well with the spider and the dire wolf summons

One more dumb question then; is there an easy way to tell when the spell duration has expired? Pity there's no wreath of fire; a flaming badger would look pretty cool!

:)

Its still kind of wrong that clerics get free +5 shields, armor, and +5/+d6+10 fire damage weapons and mages get free +5/+d4+10 fire damage weapons, while a +2/+d6 lightning damage weapon costs 1.25 million gold.
Gilkin> ouch. how often do you roll a 20?
Cath> once every 20 rolls?

No, what is wrong is that casters cannot jsut make themselves all the magic equipment they want, as they are supposed to be able to do. Casters would never buff themselves if full item creation was implemented. Only way I can think of really implementing it would require a full time staff of DMs just to handle the item submissions and quests for components to make them.

Experimented with this offline Buff spells on summons with claw/claw/bite (most of the animals) seem to take effect on the bite. So they're effective for one in three attacks.

Eyeball is unusual in having no creature weapon.

let's leave the dead horse alone, he's been beaten enough.

Instead, let's pop a broken record into the player.
Never argue with an idiot, they'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience

I keep meaning to ask.

What sort of whacked DM did you have that would allow people to get components, scrolls etc that would allow people to make infinite items, xp and gold required to use Wish, ICF and the like to their full potential?

I SERIOUSLY doubt people would go around spending 5-15,000xp for all the things you mention.

These aren't FREE, like you seem to think they are.

I know they aint free, but they are available. It may take a quest to make each item, but it is a possibility. By the time any caster that takes the feats is epic, they would have enough to replace having to actualy buff themselves and can instead be permanently magicaly enhanced.

I never said anything about free, or easy.
