Help...

Post by Nikki of Baja » Thu Jun 20, 2002 5:48 am

I just heard Neverwinter Nights just came out...

Help me out here... it is supposed to be like 3rd edition D&D or something else?

Can someone like Orleron answer this for me please.

I guess it is time to surf the net for info.

Yes, it's exactly like 3rd Edition D&D.
Well, not exactly, looking over the game details (ie skills and stuff) it has a lot of changes, but it's D&D 3e.

Yeah, what he said.

Go to http://nwn.bioware.com to get all the basics.

Most of the deviations from the 3rd Ed rules were made in order to accomodate the game engine (I forget the name of it at the moment). Skills like parry, and discipline that aren't in the game were put there because they were needed for the combat system.
