Game to keep an eye on: Divinity: Original Sin 2

Post by Sarmanos » Tue Sep 26, 2017 6:34 am

I haven't had a chance to buy or play it myself yet since my gaming plate is pretty full right now, but I have been hearing some pretty good things about Divinity: Original Sin 2's GM mode and ability to make custom adventures. It won't quite make for an NWN successor as far as PWs go due to some limitations (only one GM and just four other players tops right now unless someone mods these limits out without breaking the core game) short of some very serious modding, but it looks like it does have some great tools for people wanting to run smaller scale fare. It even has dice rolling functionality built into it so they know people might want to try to simulate the tabletop feel.

In the least make a note of it and keep an eye on this one, it looks to have some great potential.
Vetinari: I have noted before that you have a definite anti-authoritarian streak, Commander.
Vimes: Sir?
Vetinari: You seem to have retained this even though you are Authority.
Vimes: Sir?
Vetinari: That's practically Zen.

I got it the other day but haven't really played it much. I swear, STEAM is like crack. I have more games than I know what to do with. There's no time to play them all, and that's coming from a disabled guy.
Currently on Eastern Time - 5 GMT.
Favorite line from favorite movie this year : " I think I would have really liked just doing laundry with you"
