NWN Play Disc?

I managed to find all my old NWN discs today, at least I thought I did. I have NWN CD 1,2 and 3 and the two expansion discs.
When I load up CD 1 it asks me to insert the play disc. I've tried CD 1 and CD 3 and neither has worked.
I am very sure that NWN only ever had 3 CDs and not 4 so I would have to assume that the play disc is CD 1 or 3 and they are damaged in some way (they dont look scratched) or is my memory genuinely failing me and I am missing a disc?

I'd rather not buy the whole lot again off of GoG because with my crappy limited internet it ends up costing me more to download the game than it would to purchase it and the next time I can take my computer to someone elses to use real internet will be a while.

PLay disk is (IIRC) disk 1, but you shouldn't need this after updating it. (It was some disk verification thingy that they thankfully did away with in.. uh 1.68 ish?)

It wont install without the play disc though. After some google-fu I found out that disc 3 was the play disc, but for whatever reason mine wont work, it just asks if I would like to autorun then does nothing. I tried running autorun from the disc in explorer as an admin, that didnt do anything either. The disc doesnt seem damaged but clearly it must be because it wont work. Im just going to bite the bullet and go through GoG.

I assume GoG at least patches the game to 1.69 when I install it from there? Thats one bonus I guess.

Also as I saved my old CD keys, will this mean I wont have any problems when it comes to logging into Avlis and the Alpha server etc?

I got it to work!

Autorun wasnt workign but I found a little application called setup... seems obvious nwo but it didnt have the NWN logo so i assumed it for was gamespy or something as its only a 55kb application.

Either way the game started installing, but now I have to go to work lol

I seem to recall that the copy you get from GOG is already updated. This works fine as long as you apply for and use the custom CD Key after installation

Also, as already suggested, once you have updated you no longer need the Play disk (Disk 3 I think). The problem of course is actually getting hold of the update nowadays
