Bard / Pale Master / Epic Spells
Somebody set me straight. I see conflicting information on the Interblogs.
Can a Bard/Pale Master take epic feats or not? e.g. Epic Warding / Mage Armour, Mummy Dust, Greater Ruin, etc. Does the 'Ability to Cast 9th Level Spells' requirement hold true in this case?
And finally, on the program:

Re: Bard / Pale Master / Epic Spells
I never tried it, all I can give you is that 'casting 9th level spells' is not the real prereq. for the epic spells... rather the feat epic:wizard, epic sorcerer, etc. is the normal prereq. So, for example, a 17th level wizard/10 pale master is not sufficient even though they are both epic level and casting 9th level spells.Pale Masters can take Epic Spells at level 15 even if they only have 3 levels of an arcane class. They can also take epic spells with Epic Bonus Feats (after level 15) provided they meet the Spellcraft requirements. The duration of the spells will be based on Pale Master levels.
It would be my guess that '15th level pale master' grants a feat or overrides the normal prequisites that suddenly makes these epic spells available.

Re: Bard / Pale Master / Epic Spells
Casting 9th level spells is not the actual prerequisite: being an epic cleric, wiz, sorc, or PM is. A Bard/PM can take these epic spells if you have 15 or more levels of PM - furthermore, they will only be available when taking a level of the qualifying class. That is, when taking a Pale Master level at level 15 or beyond.

The other quirk is that the epic spell will use your total number of pale master levels as its caster level, rather than having the caster level of your bard spells.

You have to either be epic in your primary casting class (WIZ, Sorc, Cleric, Druid) or have 15 Palemaster levels.
You also must meet the spellcraft requirement to select the epic spell.

Thanks all! You have made a friend of mine quite happy. PM is one class for which I have no alt.
