*Will make sure the right people get this*

Your password must contain at least 8 letters, a capital, a plot, a protagonist with good character development, a twist, and a happy ending.

Kuras... A Gauntlet for the LN types.
Let's have one soon a place where PCs can attend regardless of race, faith or creed.

Anyone except Malekites can go. I wanted Jazz to put in there that the other races and alignments weren't going to be discriminated against, even CE, it's just malekites. Oh well.

Dont be a pussy and get your butt up to Kuras!
I want to see Jared's newly-wed ass get kicked.
I want to see Malekians getting arrested and decapitated.
I want to see lots of dirty fights!

What about a Blandenbludgeon? The temple of Cha'reth would make a perfect place.

It would have to be underground, because Sereg are KOS.
But not too far underground, otherwise humans become KOS.

So, can I ask why people wouldn't want to duel in Kuras, but would in say, Mikona?

Other then time being the reason, ofcourse.

It simply made too little sense for my character to travel abroad to participate in a tournament. Had it been in his backyard there would have been a chance he would have participated.Jazz wrote:So, can I ask why people wouldn't want to duel in Kuras, but would in say, Mikona?

As for other PCs, some of the most obvious participants in a Scaled Gauntlet would be the Malekites who were excluded.
I think the Grand Arena of Kuras is awesome looking, though, and I love Scaled Gauntlets, so perhaps some other time there will be enough participants to have it become a reality.

Re: Pssst.. hey.. you.. yeah you
My one PC who would participate in these ran away from Kuras to get away from the lawful oppression, so it didn't make any IC sense for her to go back (she's CN, leaning CG).Jazz wrote:So, can I ask why people wouldn't want to duel in Kuras, but would in say, Mikona?

Well, speaking as a spectator rather than a competitor, before the portals went in it would have been sort of difficult IC to justify travelling to the other side of the continent for a tournament.Jazz wrote:So, can I ask why people wouldn't want to duel in Kuras, but would in say, Mikona?

Plus, there was no way I was going to pay 10,000+ gold pieces to get into Kuras.
Now, with the portals, it's a different situation.
