Old account names

Post by Raama En'Huine » Sun Sep 09, 2007 9:11 pm

To whom this may concern.

I have an account name here that has a email attached to it. I don't play this character any more and since I was numb in the head enough to put a character name as the forum name. then stop play'n that particular character because I couldn't.. Find the grove with it.. Well I want to play something else but don't want to use the board name of a discontinued character.. suggestions?

If some one could remove the Email address from this account and then delete it I will happily make a new account.

Thanks

Your Forum account does not have to be the same as the name of your character, nor the same as your Gamespy name. I made that mistake back when I started here - my GS name was Nighthawk4 (because they already had a Nighthawk), so I assumed that my Forum name had to be the same.

Sometime later, I realised that was not true - so I could have been just Nighthawk on the Forum. Far too late now of course.

If you are worried about the Forum name you have, then just make a new one and use that. Logout of the Forum and then click on Register. Register with a new name, wait for that to be activated and then use that.

As long as you are not doing so for nefarious reasons, you are welcome to change to a different Forum account.

Question: you cant use the same email twice, so.. one would have to obtain a new email address to make a new account correct?

Not sure of that - but a Gmail account is easy enough. You don't have to use your main email account.

Then we couldn't call you NH4. :( NH4 sounds so much better than just NH

As you can see I have never used this account in... ages.. actual ever.. I think my first post was this questioning.

But yes the email is a issue. I guess I can just make a hotmail account. but if it goes invalid will my account here go invalid?

I have been play'n avlis for some time.. off and on.. nothing worth note though. and Raama En'huine was just a bad bad bad idea. but I was excited when I made him and yet... went down hill.. FAST. Unless I can have Raama En'Huine deleted from the vault and I can make him Anew? I like the name... Drangonari sorc. but couldn't deal with the magic nonsense. Not my bag.

I don't know I'm confused, I wanna play, but mages isn't my thing but I love clerics and bards. go figure.

Just make a quick hotmail account. If your hotmail account does wither away into nothing, it won't effect your forum account here.

Yeah, you won't need to ever use the new e-mail account again once the forum account is activated.
