Avlis policy on: Using a P-Merchant

Post by Nighthawk4 » Mon Mar 19, 2007 6:07 pm

There has been some discussion recently about the subject of Player-owned p-merchants and their use. The Team have discussed this matter - with the following result:

1. It is NOT against the rules for one of your characters to buy or sell at a p-merchant which belongs to another of your characters.

However, such deals must take place genuinely as if your character was the same as any other customer. You give or receive no special treatment as a result of the merchant belonging to your other character - as your characters cannot know each other. Therefore, the merchant is a complete stranger and owes you no favours.

2. The Team will be monitoring the use - and possible abuse - of these p-merchants. Please do not abuse them.

3. The consequences of such abuse will include some of the following:

Deletion of the p-merchant which is abused - with no compensation.
Jailing of the Player responsible.
Banning of the Player responsible.
Removal of p-merchants.
The Team becoming very displeased with you.
The other Players becoming very displeased with you.
All of the Above.

Please do NOT abuse the p-merchants - they are quite nice people really
Life is never as bad as you think it is, although that doesn't help at the time.
