REMINDER: Do not camp resources!
NOTE: Entering an area where monsters spawn, then leaving the area to wait for the lag script to despawn the monsters, then returning to the area to collect whatever resources are there is abusing the engine. Do not do this. It will get you Vault Jailed or worse.

Re: Rule on: Resources camping
Seems it's time to bump this thread again.
To clarify,
1. If you collect a plant and then wait next to it until the plant re-spawns then you are Camping.
2. If you collect a plant and then log in with a different PC to play until the resource respawns and then re-log with your first PC to gather the plant, rince, repeat, you are Camping.
3. If you collect a plant and then log for an hour, log in, collect, log out for an hour, log in collect etc. you are Camping.
4. If you go to an area and kill all the critters there and then stay in the area until they respawn then you are camping.
5. If you go to an area and kill all the critters there and then log in with a different PC to play until the resource respawns and then re-log with your first PC (see point 2) you are camping.
6. If you go to an area and kill all the critters there and then log out for an hour, log in, kill the critters, log out for an hour, log in kill the critters etc. you are Camping.
The simple rule is go to an area do what you need to do, collect or crump once and then leave the area. (By once for critters I mean once per spawn site).
The only acceptable exception here is if you get to an area and collect (or crump) just before logging for the session. When you log in the following day it is acceptable to collect/crump that area as long as you then leave that area and carry on playing. Logging in on a daily basis just to collect/crump one area puts you into clause 3 or 6 respectively.
If you are reading this thread for the first time can I encourage you to take a look at the Avlis:Rules board here -> LINK. Making sure you are aware of what is acceptable here on Avlis will save you from inadvertantly breaking rules that may land you in trouble later on.
