Sereg stuff
Do the PC seregs look just like regular sereg or can they pick different skin tones and hair color?
It's chaos, be kind.

The character generator enforces the proper skin tone / hair color when you choose the subrace, so there's no need to worry about that.
Female sereg are technically possible, but should be extremely rare. Have a look in the Races thread to see some information on them... you'll be treated as a non-entity and either ignored or abused by male sereg as a general rule. I would assume they share their sense of superiority over other races though, even though they're treated like animals by the males. The rest of the male / female interaction characteristics are still undefined AFAIK.

Concerning Sereg eyes: are they all black like the description says? Because I haven't changed the tattoos colours in my Sereg and he ended up with yellow snake eyes. Would that be cheesing to assume that the "Seregs: The Next Generation" (i.e. Seregs who have been born from Sereg parents, not artificially modified) just evolve some genetic factors such as eye colour (which would be natural - most creatures seeing in darkness have very bright pupils: e.g. cats and owls)?

[biologist & genetics mode] Eye color as a genetic factor is a rarety even among humans, it only exists in caucasians and those with caucasian genes along the line, african and asian populations have no different eyecolors (or haircolor for that matter). In the animal world it is even rarer, since if a trait doesn't give you a survival advantage it won't survive or develop. As for "most" creatures that see in the darkness, you are referring to the FEW nocturnal mammals out there (compared to the many animals that sense in the infrared spectra) and their their bright eyes are bright only because they see in the visible (for us) spectrum and thus WE can see the layer inside their eyeballs that reflects the light. Animals that can sense the infrared spectrum (most reptilians, some birds) do not have light eyes, since WE cannot see the reflected light, but their nightvision far surpasses the cat's and owl's.Isengrim wrote:Concerning Sereg eyes: are they all black like the description says? But....
NO!!!! Huskies or malamutes (they do have different eyecolors) or any other pet, don't count since they are inbred strains, "made" by us. [biologist & genetics mode]
