City of Malekia, Maleki, and Malekites

Quick question. Done a bit of searching, and can't really find any information to answer my question. Rather than assume that a lack of information answers my question, I thought I'd get a direct answer (hopefully).

Is there any relationship between the city of Malekia and Maleki/Malekites?

It's one of the Seven Cities, and thus isn't planned to be implemented in NWN Avlis. As far as the Maleki question, I have no idea, but my best guess is that it's a coincidence. CE societies have trouble existing, much less forming a bustling city.

From memory from the Malekia Sword description I destroyed once, it is a city primarily dedicated to the worship of Maleki.

I couldn't be positive though... my memory isn't that great.
