Are there any decisions made on the Orcish language? Any background information?
I'm hoping to play an Orc character, and was thinking about the language.. on Avlis, I expect the Orcs to be quite different to anywhere else.. they're smarter and stronger than humans on average, quite unusual...
So I was thinking.. even though they're smarter, they're still brutal, evil, ambitious (lawful evil)... but they're the politicians/diplomats. So..
I expect they can speak many languages (due to requirements for diplomacy), and their own language may reflect the stark yet refined nature of their culture.
I've lots of ideas about the language that I'd like to contribute, but thought I'd check with Orleron, the DMs, and other players first about this topic before making any suggestions/proposals. I've read the threads about Elvish, Gnomish, Tyeduan, etc. so far, about player-defined languages, and the like... but I haven't found anything on Orcish yet.
