Order of Death, Dagath death domain power

By the description of this ability it seems this is an avatar. Which would mean that a little version Dagath is actaualy following the cleric around? It appears to be a shadow, which is an illusion. Is it the cleric's shadow come to life? It also says that it is suppose to grow with the character, but mine is the same in every way I can observe as it was when my cleric was lvl 1. I have been looking for someone to ask in game, but have never ever met the Death order of Dagath high priest. I have his name written down, but forget it off the top of my head. I must be on play schedule dinamicaly opposite to him or just have realy realy bad luck. Most likely #2 in my case.

The shadow grows:
You get:
shadow
shadow hound
shadow fiend
shadow lord

Unfortunately, the later are not that powerfull compared to the enemies you meet. Or the dire tiger or elementals you can summon.
The hound and the shadow are great helps when you have them, though.

If you want to see what the hound (a shadow mastiff) can do, come and see Thorgrim in action sometimes... at least when there are no people of the order of Gorethar around

Being a priest of rebirth, does not mean I do not acknowledge Dagath's powers in the sphere of death.

Or ask Amonien Amana for the shadow lord. Same condition aplies, though.
