Ghost elf and Hide

Post by coredump » Fri Jul 24, 2009 4:50 am

Just curious.... it says the Ghost Elf 'glows', and that makes it harder to Hide.

How does it affect Hide? Is it a straight -X, or something else?

Thanks

I believe it's a -4 to Hide, though better heads will confirm.

During Night, if the target has a light on them, there is a -10 DC modifier

Does this also apply to indoor areas or underground?

... I'm assuming yes, since underground/interior areas go with the always dark (night) environment toolset setting. Stop asking hard questions I haven't tested yet :P

But in the toolset you can still set interior areas to have fluctuating lighting for night and day, and time still passes to morning hours inside them...

Hmmm... I was hoping the penalty for "faint green light" would be different than for carrying a torch.

-10 is a bit much to overcome.
