Thanks for the Jechran posting Orleron. Dre'Ana is obviously a bigger influence then I have played it. Though I had begun to suspect that as soon as I read the world information for Dre'Ana.
Specifically the thrust of my questions are to do with how debased the men are likely to be - which isnt suprising considering I play one.
(sorry

1. Relative to Mikona and Elysia, I visualize Myleah as a smaller community, less city, more pastoral. Closer in feel to Elysia than Mikona. Would that be accurate?
2. You mentioned this :
Does this trade extend beyond babies? Are adult males considered mobile assets belonging to the tribe, or are they viewed as members, (subservient to women) in thier own right. A analog might be the rights of slaves vs pre-suffrage women in North America... the tribe will often take the baby and seek to trade it to another tribe who happens to be low on males at the moment.
The banished into the wilderness aspect seems to indicate a rather callous attitude towards the men.
3. Another quote :
It would be natural to assume that the men compete for that regard in some fashion....but that assumption is based on the idea that heterosexual relationships with men are not seen as a distatesful necessity.Women who are intent on having a child will choose a male of their liking and procreate.
In other, coarser terms, is the island of lesbian pixies located within the borders of Jechren.
4. It doesn't sound like Jechran has any specific enemies or hatreds as a nation, aside from a taste of the survivalist 'us against them' mentality natural in an isolated and distinct culture. Obviously the geography would make Galdos a major trading partner, but how a severe a barrier is the wasteland to commerce and communications with Drotid.
Thats all I have, sorry for the detail questions..I know you hate em, just trying to figure out one of the more unique societies in Avlis :->
