Post by Neilos » Tue Jun 08, 2004 1:13 am

these are some very generic questions that i just dont know the answers to...
1. how do i rest? i press R but it wont let me. i am a cleric and cant figure out how to get my spells useable again...
2. how do i send a tell to someone? :( i kno this is a silly question but i cant figure it out
3. for the cleric i thought i could change out any spell to replace t with a healing spell at any time...how do i do this?

this is it for now but im sure ill think of more

What you are doing is correct, the only problem is that you cannot rest in all areas. Underneath your portrait there is a clump of buttons, the rest button (looks like a closed eye) will be shaded a different colour in areas you cannot rest in.

there are a couple of ways, click on thier portrait (if you are partied up with them or are talking to them) or click on thier name on the player list (press p to bring it up) then click the "send a tell to this player" button on the same screen.

From your spell book drag the healing spells onto one of your quickslots, its icon will be displayed with a "s" on it, this means you can cast it instead of your memorised spells.

Would you want to take a nap in the middle of a busy tavern? what about in the middle of a bustling city street? The rest zones are mostly in places where people would actually be willing to sit down and have a rest.

(hint: try looking upstairs at taverns that have rooms available for rent)

For characters of level 1-3 there is no wait period between rests. Once you get over this level then you can only rest once every four hours (game hours, not RL hours)
