Assassin Death Attack (10 + Assassin level + INT mod):

Level 30 Assassin = +30

Starting INT of 18, raise to 33 at level 40 = +11

INT from items and spells = 45 = +17

Death Attack DC (fort save) = 10 + 30 + 17 = 57

NOT setting to hostile beforehand with regards to sneak attacks is not good for the victim as you're generally dead before you can set the assassin to hostile or click on them with the radial menu. There's also the fact that certain 'defences' have no effect on the attacker if hostile is not set wh...

The point of all this is that players are using invisibility and, for the most part, just being plain annoying. Sorry, but being taunted by an invisible person to me is just not fun. Easily countered by the potion mentioned above. It does seem, however, that if your being taunted is a recurring the...

Thanks, mortz. That's exactly what I wanted to know.

Similarly, do the durations scale with class level?

Spell-like class abilities

Does anyone know whether these have the V or S components that the actual spells of the same name have?

Thanks.

Good suggestion. That other script stuff scares me.

Testing in NWN

Can anyone tell me very specifically how to test things in NWN? I am curious to try out a few character configurations, but don't know how to create a PC of a certain level and class with specific feats, etc.

Thanks.

Counterspelling

Quick questions: 1. Can you counterspell a spell-like class ability? Assassin's Invisibility or Darkness, for example--can these be counterspelled with Invisibility, Darkness, or a dispel in counterspell mode? 1a. Conversely, if you have spell-like class abilities such as those mentioned above and e...

I think the answer is pretty obvious, but I'd like to make sure. If your BAB is 11, thus giving you three attacks, will the Rapid Fire feat give you a second Death Attack (2 first-segment attacks) when the DA applies? I'm curious because I know this is a combat mode, and the Death Attack takes place...

right, what nob is saying. Just right now, instead of changing bab at all... it is Adding the assumed difference from cleric to AB and giving you an extra attack. So instead of +15/10/5 -> 20/15/10/5 it goes 15/10/5 +5 +1attack -> 20/15/10/20 But Wrath, doesn't it sound like it is changing the BAB,...

it is just the bab that should be raised, but all that fucked up shit that actualy happens. Gotcha. So that's the bug. It should just be your BAB regarding the bonus to hit , not attacks/round . So my cleric/rogue should never have more than 3/round as a factor of his BAB, but because the spell is ...

hey, it works even funnier then I mentioned. For example, rhis says he gets +2 attacks, not sure how that is happening. We would have to get someone do avlis spell code to give us the lowdown of just how screwed up it is. My guess is that it's transforming Rhiss's non-FTR levels into BAB, ignoring ...

here is what it seems to do to me. It gives you a bonus compared to your lvl vs a fighter of your lvl, an extra attack, 1hp/lvl, and your str to 18 regaurdless of other negatives. So, if you are 20th lvl... you get +1 attack, +5 bab, +20hp and 18 str. It does not matter what class you are. So rhis ...

Yes, it will give you extra attacks per round. It doesn't stop at 4 either. I don't claim to understand how divine power works, but if Rhissaerk is under the effect of divine power it gives him 2 additional attacks, and he already has 4 naturally. That's very curious, since you have no Cleric level...

For most of the PrC's, I think there is almost ALWAYS something you can take. For example, Shifters get Greater Wisdom as an epic bonus feat and this can be taken up to 10 times. Since the most bonus feats any shifter can get is 6 (30 levels of shifter, bonus feat every three levels after 10th), th...
