All the different resolutions are defined in my X config, and no matter what resolution I set in nwn.ini, it automatically resets it to 1280x1024.

And has any idea how to make the damn game recognize resolutions other than what's your desktop? My X is properly configured and other games change resolutions fine, but NWN just refuses and forces 1280x1024 both in fullscreen and window mode. :/ And I'm on SUSE 10.1 using KDE with that sweet sweet ...

*bump* if you want to be evil and do some NPC killing, have a DM around and have a goal. To just slaughter some NPCs because no DM or PC is watching so you get no consequences is meh.

do you have to make the spellcraft check if you can already cast the spell, or only if you cant (because it is higher level than your abilities)? example. joe mage is a level 9 wizzy he has 13 ranks in spellcraft, he has a scroll of improved invisibility (level 4) does he need to make a DC 24 spell...

Right, if you have a friend with the CDs, all you could do is install using those CDs, and using the CD-KEYs from your owned copy. As after 1.66 (I think) you no longer need the CD to play.

I turned it off 2 hours after buying the game and been using winamp ever since.
