I don't use it, not because I don't like it, but because my char will never qualify for it, on the other hand, I do have divine shield to use instead, and I use that quite a bit

I believe that it does have to do with the condition your char was in when they left the server, the hit points, active spells and weight carried all seem to revert when going back to a server....ie. the getting slowed thing is also a part of the same save, but only if you were over your weight limi...
