I know about the souncard thing. that's not the problem im having.

it's one of the custom .2da's in my override folder that's causing the issue.

unless i can find which one it is and remove it, im dealing with a separate second installation of the game.

my session keeps crashing during the training hall area in the first campaign. every time i open a chest, game freezes then crashes.

i might do another install just for SP... *groans*

What they said. Setting hostile before you attack is usually best.

Autoattack can really aggravate everyone involved.

Tells are your best friends in CvC. A friendly tell here and there can help to maintain a good level of fun as well as a minimal feeling of grief IMHO.

I just copied all my haks and other stuff right to my 250GB hard drive. wiped my 80 and now reinstalling. Now I can't find my nwn or sou cd's. the only one i can find is the hotu. so now i have to wait for the disks to finish downloading. right now, disk 1 and 3 and the sou cd is finished downloadin...

Do I have to download the installers for copap, cep and stuff if I already have all the .hak's and .2da's backed up? Or can I just move the backed up files into their respective folders from my clean install, and expect to be able to play on copap? Any suggestions on what to do. My first re-install ...

I have read just about every post on this thread, and with that said this is an awesome place here. Lots of my questions were answered and there are plenty of helpful links here too. Alas there's an aweful lot of info out there for scripting and what not. Too many places with too many entries for me...
