I noticed the resolution goes up to 2000...something x something something.... it really can go higher if you hardware is up to it. I run fine on a 6800gt @ 1280x1024 and high textures so compared to what the graphics can be cranked up to it would probably be considered medium level graphics. Games ...

From what I've played so far I think it is an upgrade to NWN. I have to give it more time to give a better opinion. It feels less awkward than the original and that's a good thing. I can run with high textures at 1280x1024 so the graphics look good. Not Oblivion but not NWN either. I think Gamespot ...

So, he didn't like the cameras, the graphics, the NPC dialouge, the controls or the battle system but it got a 9 out of 10. wtf? Sorry. It looks sad. That's what I thought Manuel. I won't pass judgement until I see it for myself though. I've been reading some of the player reviews over at gamespot ...

I can live with some of the clunky controls of the first one but I hope they at least put an auto walk feature in!!!! RP'ing while you walk in NWN is like trying to drink a beverage while running in real life.

Here's another brief review at Game Informer: http://www.gameinformer.com/NR/exeres/6E014E5B-0855-4B0A-968F-9C3B74E785EC.htm I think the game will be good. Just not revolutionary as we were all hoping. Based on what I've read, it's NWN with a new skin. I just hope it runs well enough on my pc and la...

Thanks for the replies. You confirmed my choice to take the C# focus. I can't wait to get started. I know it will be a challenging degree program but I am focused on seeing it through. It will take me a while to complete since I am doing it part time but that will let me really sink my teeth into it...

Question for scripters

I am going back to school for a degree program in 3d game and simulation programming. I have a choice of vb or c#. So far I've heard that it won't matter which I choose but it was recommended to start with c#. I'd like to hear your advice :) Also, when NWN originally came out I wanted to get into sc...

From memory the possible camera angles in NWN1 were real crappy to start off with as well. Camera haks soon started appearing that allowed you to unlock the camera and move it where you wanted it too, not long after Bioware added there own version into one of the updates. Hopefully the same will ha...

NWN2 Review at Worthplaying

It got a good score but if you read the review you would think it would be much lower. He seems to have based it on the longevity of the product because of the toolset. Overall the review scares me a bit. It speaks negatively about some issues that I was hoping would be cleaned up from NWN. Here's t...

Help, looking for cave ceiling hak

Can anyone tell me the file name for the cave ceiling hak?

Also, have there been any haks released for city tileset ceilings yet?

Thanks :)

Open the toolset, select "Edit" from the toolbar at the top of the screen and click "Module Properties" on there there should be a tab labeled "Custom Content". Thanks Enverex :) I got that part... I want to know how to import the hak files under the custom content tab. I'm at work and can't look a...

Thank you for your replies :D

I think I am familiar with the custom tab in the module properties window. How exactly do I import the hak files under that custom tab? I'm still new to the toolset.

Thanks again,

CEP and the NWN Toolset

Greetings,

I was wondering if the CEP placeables were included in the toolset once the CEP is installed. I did not see any objects or tilesets that seemed to be part of the CEP. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place? Could someone point me in the right direction? :)

Regards,

Will this turn resistance be modified in Avlis if it is not implemented already?

Just like KotOR 2 is being done by another company. It's still KotOR 2, but it's not BioWare doing it. Lucas Arts holds the license, and chose to continue on. There was speculation on the Bioware Forum that the company doing KoToR2 might also do NWN2. They have a secret project they are working on ...

Camera Angle Hack

I was trying to install the camera angle hack but it does not work past version 1.30. Is there an updated version and is it useable in Avlis?

Thanks,
