I've been playing NWN1 on my old G4 Mac for almost 4 years. No emulations or anything else. It runs fine and from what I can tell it's overall performance is as good or better than comperable machines on the PC side.

In my experience, the arrow that was clicked on last is the next one drawn for use. I've also never had any arrows pulled out of my bags for use, even when they were the last ones picked. Yep, I had the same problem two nights ago, but forgot to put a bug report in. Thanks for mentioning it. Note that the transition does work the other way, from the mines to the town, just not from the town to the mines.

Jumped in last night for a bit of fun with things, very cool and a great underdark feel. I also loved the mushroom guarding quest, a great new type of quest that I'd love to see up in the surface world somewhere. It may very well be there somewhere and I haven't found it yet, but very cool

I voted no just because I think it adds a bit more character to the game by restricting who can use what. It's a bit more fun to see folks running around with morning stars, maces, scythes, etc. rather than everyone using the same 'best' weapons.

Personally, I like the Epic system and enjoy the additional things you can do mechanically with your character when you get there. I play a triple-classed character, so without epic levels it would be a bit tougher to make the 'jack-of-all-trades' type of character I'm currently playing. Not to say ...

I wish I could help you, but I've never used windowed mode or IRC on my Mac. I looked into IRC and it got complicated fast, so I dropped it. I'd be interested to learn if windowed mode would work as that would be very useful at times.
