Fullscreen on the primary is what I want, but without the minimizing whenever I mouse to the secondary. Windowed mode is second best, but still vastliy superior to single screen, so I'm still ahead.

I think the line of reasoning is to fool NWN into thinking that you've set the resolution lower than the monitors, when really it's identical to one of them. But it doesn't work. Still comes up in a window.

Dual Monitors

Does anyone run NWN with a dual monitor setup? What I want is to run NWN fullscreen in one monitor, and browse forums or watch pr0n or whatever in the other. Problem is that in dualview mode, whenever I switch focus to something in the secondary monitor, NWN minimizes. If I use horizontal span mode,...

I wish they'd blocked them sooner.

When you come home to 500+ new posts every day, you suddenly lose the urge to read them all. Best thing that ever happened for my board enjoyment.

While at work, approximately 0% of my time is spent on Avlis. A lot of that has to do with the boards now being blocked. A lot of it also has to do with being v. busy. On Tuesdays (WFH day) I spend a bit more than 0% of my time on Avlis, but the company still more than gets their money's worth from ...

I suggest that your cat simply hasn't been given ample opportunities to bite flaming things. I would be very interested in testing this theory. However, I'm more interested in testing it with the neighbourhood dogs than with your cat. I should invite them to my next party and introduce them to the f...

I'm going to have to say I agree with Alex III here. Animals are capable of learning and remembering, and they're Int 3. My cat knows better then to bite a flaming log... and ain't no one gonna convince me a cat is smarter then a person with 6 Int. I hate to tell you this, but your cat is NOT capab...

It would be used whenever someone tries to knock you down or disarm you. Two things you probably don't want to happen to you.

Okay. You do that. I don't think I will, because - a) it doesn't make sense to set 'hostile' (which again is an IC state) when your sole intent is to flee. And as before, I'll send a tell explaining why I'm setting hostile, so that law enforcement doesn't misunderstand and attack when it's not warr...

Read this very thread. You'll find players of law enforcers telling stories of people getting away because they ran, leaving the law enforcer to set hostile before taking action to subdue them. I'm not saying you have to set to hostile before running. I don't have the authority, or desire to do so. ...

Personal feelings: I will never set a Guard to hostile, period. I have runins with them all the time, but I will never engage in CvC combat with them unless they attack me - so Hostile is completely un-necessary. If a Guard sets me to Hostile, based on the already talked to death considerations of ...

I have to disagree here about whether casting darkness initiates CvC - disagree with ALL of you. This is not ordinary CvC, this is about law enforcement CvC, which should be recognized as a special case. CvC was not initiated when the darkness was cast, nor when the officer responded to such an act...
