Even after Sand has been retired, the vast majority of his exploits won't be publishable sadly, due to the ongoing repercussions there would be. Leaving out those, most likely it would not be an interesting read. With them in, I expect there would be a few scandals...

I'm of the opinion that an NPC or PC can be terrifying, unbeatable, nasty and just downright mean without having Dev Crit. And I'll prove it.....

And considering that pure mages only get 2 attacks per round ever (3 if hasted), then the sacrifice to work with a crossbow is pretty small and such a crossbow would be highly coveted, as Gairus said :) Do pure mages exist any more?
