For those of you who didn't get the reference to the Kool-Aid Man, this is how Obsidiakara burst into the Order of the White Rod monastery:

Re: Avlis Quality Assurance Testers

A shoutout to the QA testers who sacrifice time they could be ingame to help test bugfixes and new content. And thanks for also giving a player's perspective and suggesting further improvements. Thanks to them you've got new Wilderness adventuring areas to play with. So thanks! :D

Re: Deider!

It started with a suggestion Tel made in a different thread for an animal dungeon, to be fair. We took that and Pleth's characters from her plot and the team went from there. Most of the work was put in by QA testers who ran through the areas MULTIPLE times and noticed errors and bugs and gave sugge...

Re: Holy ammy and Quench light

Before I get in trouble, was this ever decided on? I.e. can you remove light on a holy symbol? Checking the team archives, it looks like back in 2009 they decided that it's OK to use Quench Light scrolls to remove the light effect on holy symbol amulets. Back then it was noted that the scrolls only...

Does everybody see this or just you?
Everybody is Wang-Chunging on this one.
If the former it could be that the index wrapped on you.
Bees are on the what now? Should I realign the johnson rods or would it be better to fire a concentrated tachyon burst from the reflector dish?

Re: NWN Custom Icon Issue

Clarification: it's empty save for those files. I haven't added any other files.

If it helps I don't think this is a local issue. I have made new items with certain icons and when they went into QA testing the testers also did not see the icons as they appear in the toolset.

Have you checked your override folder to see if you've got an overwriting icon in there?
My override folder is empty.

NWN Custom Icon Issue

I'm having a problem with some custom icons. I am trying to make some new items and when I look at them in the toolset the icon looks fine. But when I examine the same item ingame the custom icon doesn't show up. The icon looks different - my assumption is that the appearance is reverting to one of ...

Re: Plants - Prepared to be picked!

To expand a bit on what we've done, all of the plants are placeables and still have inventory. But their inventories are all empty. When you click on a plant now the components will spawn directly into your inventory. If someone has already picked the plant, you'll get a message telling you so and ...

Re: Deider!

Major rave for being so active with the new LRC dungeon and helping people experience it in its full glory! I've had a blast going with groups big and small already and know I'll be back for revenge! This was truly an Avlis team effort. QA spent countless hours playtesting the areas and providing f...

Over a year and a half since a rave?! While loudmouthed assholes like me take the credit there is tizmo, The Rock of CCC, who is key to Avlis but never toots his own horn. He's always on an even keel and keeps us grounded and focused. He is truly the hero of CCC.

Indeed, thanks for sleep-griefing yourself!! As everyone knows Pleth is much better at handling larger groups than I am. And she did more than help out, it was a good ole-fashioned DM double-team :D

Re: Avlis Quality Assurance Testers

Cool shit is coming. It pains me to not be able to tell you some of the cool shit that's coming. Like holding in a poo, for days. The reason this cool shit is coming is that we have an awesome squad of QA testers who break everything the team proposes and codes up until it's honed to near-perfection...

An amazing event last night, big shout out to D who probably didn't expect the GL to invite so many people but made it worth it. The lag was awful and after the server had to be reset and all his setup was disappeared, he seamlessly finished the story out. A big thanks to Pleth, who kept the event ...
