I have just tried to reload my NWN Deluxe edition on my Win 7 laptop- It plays ok before I patch it. When I try to Update it from the Menu Screen it errors... So I then downloaded the critical files and patch 1.69 for a 64 bit pc (just the HotU 1.69 patch) Downloaded all the Avlis haks too.. But no...

Can't find ini files either. I'm expecting to find it where i find the haks and overrides, music, logs etc. but its not there?

I was just asked to collect a log, so I logged out and went to the logs folder. All I found was two empty files ... nwclienterror1 27/11/10 17:40 Text Document 0KB nwclientlog1 27/11/10 17:40 Text Document 0KB I need to do something first to enable it? Or is it bugged? Thanks for any help, cheers!

I'm looking at the files for the patch not the full install, but Im thinking the readme refers to full install. step 1 says .. dl these files cep1patch.hak cepanatomy.hak cepbaseitem.hak cepcreature.hak cepplace.hak cepportrait.hak ceptexture.hak but the list I have in the winRAR doesn't include all...

Firstly, thanks to all those that put in the hard werk! I remember the CEP was put in the main NWN folder, not one of the subfolders, like hak or tlk, right? I guess its the same with the patch, but I'm not sure. Extract it to the main folder? umm... I just got to the readme and its a bit more comp...

i just had to do all that .... you can just upgrade NWN as normal to 1.66, then you can patch it back with the file found here http://nwn.bioware.com/support/patch_revert_hotu.html ..but don't forget to put the file in the folder still zipped then its just a case of downloading the haks again and th...
