This would be something to post on the Hala forums :) But you can download most of the Hala haks from Hellfire's mirror at http://hellfire.hyperomega.com/avlis/ Though it uses a new version of the Mirador superset which can be downloaded here: http://nwvault.ign.com/Files/hakpacks/data/1078487641000...

well in nwn crossing with an favored class with a second class (as in dwarf wizard/rogue) would gain 20% less xp or something like that. You are right on that. If you multiclass and two non-favoured classes are more then 1 level from eachother you get a 20% xp penalty. or im i just mad? Likely... o...

The attack bonus of gloves count for bypassing damage reduction. Ki Strike also works for bypassing damage reduction. There are gloves out there with an attack bonus, but I doubt you'll find any with an attack bonus with more than +3 (which is gained from Ki Strike already). You can reach +5 natural...

Also even if you meet the requirements sometimes it's allowed you level in a certain class to be able to choose them. Say you are a multiclass bard/something else and you meet the requirements for Lasting Inspiration, you can choose it if you level up as a bard, but can't if you level up as somethin...

I have read that compared to humans elves actually are earlier at a point humans would consider matured (though elves do not). I thought elves are (according to human standards) mature around the age of 15 (according to elves however they are still leaflings). Their physical maturity is pretty norma...

that is true in PnP, but in NWN, the Iuon Stone is technically implemented as a spell-like effect so it would wear off when the PC rests. Some spell effects do seem to last ~during~ your rest and wear of when the rest is finished. From my experiences this seems to be happening if the spell is caste...

It could be that you mistaked the weapon to have an attack bonus. An attack bonus is different from an enchantment (most people don't seem to know that). An attack bonus gives you just what it says, an attack bonus. Most weapons on Avlis which you can buy have an attack bonus and not an enchantment....

If a sword has an enchantment already it doesn't enchant it further only if it exceeds the enchantment. So magic weapon only works on unenchanted swords (atleast without an enchantment bonus). Greater magic weapon only has use if you can exceed the current enchantment. This makes sense doesn't it. E...

I don't think its nessecarily NWNx2 that you should ask the question to, but the database server. For instance in SQL Server there is a table in the master database that stores all the names of the existing tables. All you'd have to do is write a query that checks that table to see if it exists. Mig...

Hmm...I don't know if Sereg are the bastion of spell resistance or not, but might it be effective to cast either Light or Continual Flame on them/HiPS users to make them easier to spot? Light, being a cantrip, is known to many, many, many different casters. Some items even allow it to be cast. Cont...

Re: Corellon Larethian
I'm not exactly sure what you mean by the 'androgynous language form.' Avlissian elvish doesn't have gender forms, and the only elves who speak FR Elvish are the drangonari, who don't look much like elves at all. I suggest you check for information on Avlissian elvish in the World Information forum...

Also, what exactly was the role of Corellon in the creation of elves on Avlis. It says in the description that Dru'El asked Corellon for aid in creating his race. Two types of elves emerged from this being the High Elves and the Ghost Elves. I take it the High Elf is as per Corellons description, wh...

Corellon Larethian
Hi everyone, I want to make a follower of Corellon Larethian. I could not find much information on Avlis about him (or her ;)), but I do know some about him from the FR. Is it the same deity and does it have the same properties as in the FR? I'm planning on playing a bard/ranger/cleric (much like Co...

I suppose you could test it by making two big loops. One with a if-then-else statement and one with a switch statement. Run it a couple of times and measure the time it takes to execute (I don't think this can be done in the script, so you'll have to make a really big loop and use a stopwatch or so ...

Again as I said the biggest advantage of dual wielding lies when you aren't that strong, so the strength multiplier doesn't matter much. Also you get an extra attack and with improved two weapon fighting two attacks. Rogues for instance would want to have as many attacks as possible just for the sne...

Also the advantage of a two handed weapon such as a greatsword lies in the fact that the strength bonus is doubled. If you don't have a pretty high strength a double weapon can be better. Oh and there's of course weapon finesse which often plays a role with dual wielding (not with those big double w...

Yes it is build on C++, but all the powerfull things you can do with C++ which makes it different from C are not avai...
