Re: Fix My Build(Melee Edition)

Yikes, thats a tough one. I would say you need to abandon either the sneak route or the fighter rout and concentrate on one aspect. With that intelligence I don't think his Assassin skills are going to be particularly good (though I dont' know much about the new assassin abilities). To be a rogue/as...

I forgot to add. Militant bonuses are a definte plus with this build. They can make your crappy low level spells that little bit better.

Re: Character Build Question - Mages take a lookski

I know something about this one. Del was a level 8 Wiz with Int 14 at level 20. Now at level 36 he is a level 22 Wiz with a suitably high Int. Its a long road but rewarding. Ultimately you will be a much better melee-mage than a normal mage, but obviously your spells won't be as strong and as people...

Re: fire, ice, shocking and acid resistance and vulnerability

Thanks for all the feedback that clears alot of it up. I learned a few things about it I didn't know. So if I read this correctly you shoot an ice elemental with a fire arrow and it does 1d6 damage. This time you get a great roll and it does 6 fire damage. The ice elemental has a 50% fire vulnerabi...

You also earn an extra attack per round every +5 on your BAB, so you get an extra attack when your BAB hits +6, +11 and +16. Although your BAB on your character sheet will increase once you hit epic levels you will no longer be able to gain extra attacks. So if say your BAB is +15 at level 20, you w...

Ah, got it, thanks. So if something has piercing resist but not bludgeoning, the morningstar should do full damage. No thats how it used to be. If you had either damage resistance it would work. Now it should be that if you have only one type of damage resistance you take full damage (i.e. it bypas...

Fixed how Damage Resistance works against weapons that do more than one type of damage (i.e. Morning Stars and Halberds). The target now uses the worst of the multiple damage resistances angainst weapons that inflict more than one base weapon damage type. Wait, so something with Piercing resistance...

Its not exactly quantifiable but the answer essentially is yes. This is certainly the case for NPC commoners and villagers etc. Zvidureth doesn't have a population of about 6 NPC's as we can see but has hundreds or thousands. Same goes for all the cities and towns. Given that I would assume the same...

Hmm is this list supposed to be IC or OOC?

Given that every demon and his dog is searching for these shards I can imagine that within some guilds knowledge of who or hasn't got them has been kept highly restricted. The less people that know the better.

There was a mechanical dragon built by M'Chek during the war. Can't remember if it ever actually flew and I am pretty sure that no one ever rode it whilst it was flying, but I guess technically that could be a mechanical form of flight. Deider would know more, it was his plot.

Also, whoever mentioned the point about stat boosts was bang-on. Hert started with an 8, has a natural 14, but never falls below a 19 WIS because of his gear. 19 WIS is a pretty worldly guy, which is what Hert is nowadays. He still has terrible grammar, and can't do simple division or count over 15...

Used to be that +AB weapons didn't get through damage resistance, that made enchantment bonuses much much better. It got changed in a patch way back so that they do which kind of evened the playing field and made alot of craftable weapons rather better than they used to be!

If the PC or NPC initiating the Disarm has the Improved Disarm Feat and is unarmed, the weapon is unequipped and taken into their inventory, rather than dropped to the ground. Yikes I never knew that. I assume that it will be kept in their inventory so if you kill them you can get it back again? Yo...
