The short answer is: No! The long answer is: Areas are loaded and created in memory only on module start, so new areas cannot be created without restarting a module. Another possibility though might be TileMagic, which basically could allow a module to contain one or two default areas (probably just...

Well, obviously there are some nice features announced for NWN2 but we still simply need to have a look at it. The community voice seems to be that they would appreciate a move to NWN2 (some people already stated to be prepared to upgrade their machines just to play NWN2). The amount of work to tran...

"The fact that the Dungeons & Dragons morality system has a Law & Chaos axis in addition to Good and Evil drove us crazy -- especially when you compare it to the simple Dark Side/Light Side Star Wars system."

*Remembers the portable hole from his PnP group* Now that things was real fun! It was the weirdest and best magical item ever. Highly useful with very creative usage possibilities (We had a Doctor in our group - you get the picture).

Head indoors and you can position everything where you want it rather than having to rely on pre-fabricated areas Uh... pre-fabricated? What is meant is that nwn2 will have a nwnish tileset approach for indoor areas. The tiles themselves are emtpy - no furniture baked into the tile - so you place a...

No can do.

I know you distanced from your own suggestion but if a NWN PW does that Bioware/Atari is around to take care of it (happened before).

I havent played in months and i'm still subscribed to fanfic and i intend to keep it that way. The Avlis world needs donations to stay alive and the small regular *to count on* donations are more helpful regarding being able to plan into the future. I didn't find it but Orl said somewhere he prefers...

It's a reference to the calling object. If you for example have a lever that gets pulled and opens a door and deals 5 damage to the user, you hook a script to OnUsed to the lever. That makes the lever the calling object in that moment (the OBJECT_SELF). In order to access the other 2 objects involve...

Several aspects were already mentioned. If you choose a TFT screen keep in mind the native resolution of the screen. Most screens have excellent scaling built-in. On my screen e.g. i can run 1024x768 and i dont see the scaling at all (native resolution of 1600x1200) 12/16 ms response time is the way...

Orleron definitely want the people to join fanfic, since the 5 bucks mothly get the avlis team a much more stable source of income. Money donated directly is certainly fine and noteworthy but its the steady constant flow of money that makes avlis able to plan for the future.
