I did a quick search around, but couldn't find this anyway. What I want to know is if it's possible to take a complete copy of the NWN folder (or whatever specific files are changed) at version 1.66, then upgrade to version 1.67 and whenever I want to play Avlis, swap the files back to the 1.66 vers...

just checked - and varied between about 50 - 75 fps at 1280 x 1024 with everything turned up to the maximum.

NWN is a bit old to take advantage of the newer video cards though

Norton Internet Security...though as I said I turned it off in order to update so I don't gather it is the problem. maybe it's not turned off completely. To be certain, uninstall, wash your hard drive with acid, reinstall Windows and try again. Should work ok. or ... have a look in Services and act...
