The Book of B!

I don't usually rave Character Journals, because there are a number that are really impressive. But waking up this morning and coming across The Book of B brightened java time. What a great start - and a high standard.

No pressure, but keep it up, the future lack of gods notwithstanding.

Re: Deider!

Thanks for thinking it all out, Deider, and letting us players deal with complex problems that have no clear answer. It really brings out individual motivations in parties, which makes it engaging, exciting, and easy to put your full focus on. I'm looking forward to more - a lot more.

Re: Deider!

I've raved Deider before, but I want to expand on what I appreciate about him as a DM. First, whether as part of a longstanding plot or a one-off, his NPCs have depth. Their personalities are radically distinct from one another, they're usually based deep in Avlis lore (or will become a part of it),...

Re: Deider!

What I'm wondering is, what happened to Deider's trademark Server Pauses? They used to happen twice an afternoon, and things just don't feel right without one.

Re: Plethora

Thank you for truly inhabiting an NPC, creating an immersive setting, and guiding my character on an open-ended, slow-paced adventure. Though it hasn't happened often, I usually get a little anxious when I'm taking up a DM's time for a solo venture knowing other people deserving of attention are on ...

Though I have yet to participate in one, the fact that you're doing so many McGuffins is certainly worth raving. It's a great way to bring together people who might not otherwise join forces. Keep up the good work!

Re: Deider!

I've really loved the Friday afternoon sessions with Deider. His NPCs come to life, without exception, and he handles the atmosphere and mood expertly. He's also patient and lets the storyline go where the characters take it, which makes you feel comfortable and empowered as a player. You can tell h...
