LoS = Line of Sight
AoE = Area of Effect (in case it comes up)

I would suggest using anything that can do Hold Person or Slow, if you have anything that can do it.

If they shut down the master server, then doesn't that mean that even if you download and back up your premium modules, they still won't work because they need verification from the master server?

Is there any way around that?

Unfortunatly, it seems that it is just something to get used to. It happens a lot, and not just on Avlis, so I don't think it has anything to do with the Avlis Haks. If you think it's annoying that you have to cast See Invisibility or True Seeing... try being a Dwarven Fighter who doesn't have the b...

I'm going to be playing in all three of the True Dungeon events this year. Should I be watching out for you to jump out from the corner of the room again?

Another option on the Elysia server is the series of "fetch me this thing" for getting into the Keep. You basically have to get a series of writs to gain access to the keep, and in order to get those, you have to do some quests for various people. Some get you XP, some get you Gold, some get you bot...
