Best advice I can offer for a PnP session: Always have fun and always think outside the box. Spells, feats, combat are NOT as cut-and-dry in the PnP as they are in NWN. Especially as a mage, think of how that one little spell could make SUCH a difference if used a little...differently. Silly example...
