Wisdom and Dexterity bonuses stack for AC purposes, which is one way to put one together. Wolfy mentioned Zen Archery, which is another very good and oft overlooked way to build a support-oriented monk. Aside from shurikens, an elf monk can use bows. If not an elf, then bows and such are only a Mart...
Hell yeah. I watched this when I was a kid. This is what made me a fan of Type O Negative. I've met the guy and had a chance to hang out with him in my college days and I must say that this is probably the coolest guy I've ever met. Peter Steele on Jerry Springer, circa 1995 Fun Fact: Peter Steele w...
Welcome back Cindare! <3 Those links answer your questions? Between it and the other replies, I think I have one left. In one of those threads Nob stated his intention to revisit the merit of the multiclassing penalty also applying to the periodic XP cap (characterized as a "double jeopardy" penalt...
Hey folks! I've been long gone and came back recently to this strange new XP system. I'm not sure if this is a dead horse (I don't think it is) but I figured I'd pose a couple questions anyhow. :) Suppose I've multiclassed to the point where I'm experiencing the 20% XP penalty. Obviously, my XP gain...
Here are a couple examples to describe the mechanics of Armor Class versus Damage Resistance. Master Shogo boldly kicked down the door leading to the crypt of Amox'zil, the Scourge of Ferrell. "I have waited to battle you for a long time," Shogo said to the ancient mummy warrior upon his throne. "In...
I usually have Pandora running in the background. I just had a run of spectacular stuff on my playlist. Sometimes it sucks when you come across a crappy tune and have to alt+tab out to kill it, but overall it's been good for my NWN experience.
Below is an article from the January 2006 issue of Game Informer magazine. (Mods: If this is an inappropriate topic for the NWN General Discussion forum, feel free to move it elsewhere.) "Bioware and Pandemic Merge, Bono Acts as Midwife" Renowned developers BioWare (Jade Empire, Neverwinter Nights) ...
It scares me much more than WoW or NWN2.... On the other hand if it was a mmorpg on that scale with any sort of decent RP it would be a first. Unfortunately, it'll never happen because the RPG that comes after MMO is a misnomer -- roleplaying on MMOs is all but ridiculed by the leet majority...
Just to jump in, here are a few things that count toward your +20 Dodge AC cap... +Dodge gear (duh...) Haste (+4 Dodge) Divine Shield feat Epic Mage Armor (+5 Dodge) Mage Armor (+1 Dodge) Though I haven't found any specific data to support this, Armor Skin seems to fall into an "innate" AC category ...
I routinely take Imp. Expertise with my wizard builds. It makes a whole lot of sense to have that kind of AC boost when your melee damage doesn't matter anyway. I'm not a huge fan of melee builds, though, so I'll hold back commentary on that except to say that my last one (a Cleric/BG on another PW)...
