Most of the complaints about high system demands have been due to people expecting the game to run at full graphics with their medicore hardware.

With graphics turned down, I could play the game fairly well on my laptop with an old ATI Mobility Radeon 9700 (128MB), 1024MB RAM and 1,7GHz CPU.

It's critical threat at 15-20, you may or may not hit. Natural 20 is an automatic hit, and you're threatening a chritical hit, though you still need to roll a hit to actually get the critical bonus.

Given that I'd still be playing NWN, it would have to be ALFA, although it's been a long time, so I don't know how things are over there nowadays.

If I remember it right, it's att+DEX (modifiers for range?) vs. 10+DEX+deflection. Basically, it's like ranged attack, but you only have to hit the other, so AC from armour, shield, etc., doesn't matter.

Modifiers stack if they come from different sources, and have different descriptors (or none). I think all ability-modifying items here give a generic +N to your stats, so they should stack.

It does seem like you can have a problem with the memory chips on your video card. This is often caused by inadequate cooling of your card, so you might want to check if that is the case first. Also, try to underclock your GPU and memory a bit, and see if that helps. NWN can hardly be called graphic...
