Check the weapontype on any weapon you find. If it has an asterisk next to the name, it's a CEP weapon and thus stuff liek Focus, Specialization, Improved Crit, etc won't work with it, along with a lot of the weapon enchanting spells... Note that Weapon Finnesse will also not work - in NWN, Weapon ...

Make certain you have a folder named "override" even if you have nothing in it. I got that error when I was messing around with my overrides to check on something, but when I changed it back everything worked just fine. My shortcut too.

I have to disagree here about whether casting darkness initiates CvC - disagree with ALL of you. This is not ordinary CvC, this is about law enforcement CvC, which should be recognized as a special case. CvC was not initiated when the darkness was cast, nor when the officer responded to such an act....

I've seen a Bandit Cleric in Mikona buff his rogue comrades and they all went from Easy to Moderate. So it does take into account some character tweaks (at least in real-time)

He's playing singleplayer, dudes. He's wondering about scripted quests in the original campaign. Not on Avlis.
