I hope to attend the two DM events in the calendar, probably using the same character for both, unless I hit the cap I suppose.

DM events are still wonderful for many reasons, one of which they are a good source of XP even if you're capped.

You certainly can get there. Start making some dungeoneering posts, hit up #LFG on Discord, hit your cap every week (party up as much as possible), and make it to the DM events when you can and you'll get there. If you're really trying to be a filthy power gamer, hit the cap with one, you can rotate...
