Re: Communications Staff is Hiring!

I am not interested in any of the rest of it, but I would gladly take a cattle prod that I could use on the DM Staff. JOne question though, is it an electric prod or just one of those glorified sticks? Been there, done that. If you have never been shocked by one of those, believe me, they are not f...

May not help a bit, but you might want to make sure that all of your drivers are up to date and also your BIOS.

From what I can tell, the header on your file is corrupted or something. I cannot open it with a couple of different programs that should be able to open it up.

Re: Number of players per DM event (on one server) - a fun poll

On a whole, both as a player and a DM, I prefer 5 or less. This is the same in PnP. I have found it is just always easier to manage things there. Maybe up to 8 is fine from time to time, but more than that usually just makes it harder to have fun in my opinion. Of course, if I could think fast, type...

Re: Bloody Heatwave

I got home from work about a week ago at 2 in the afternoon and the wife said " It seems to be a bit cooler today why don't you go mow the front lawn." I have a heat sensor on the front porch in the shade which tells me the temperature outside and inside. Outside it was 104. Gah!!! Did you t...

Like Spool said, once the rain came in it has been remarkably cool here for July. Once it quits, I'll finally be able to enjoy more of the 100+ days with 70% and up humidity :P Rain? What is that? *rubs his head* Please send it this way! I don't like the hot weather, but I guess I will live through...

The sprinkler system (zerub)? rofl, we love ya twigs and good answers!! Btw, that outfit of yours is looking a bit wrinkled. Maybe you and Zerub should meet up so that he can moisten that thing up, so some of those wrinkled might fall out. ;) I think it is time for the Fort Karr Irregulars to have ...

Re: Journal - Split from: Player's idea box

I was not talking about the quest journal, but the regular one that you can type things onto (dont guess that is the quest one). Hard for me automate anything since computers are on different networks, unless I pull it from the net. :) Scott One idea would be to use a thumb drive, and bring it with...

Re: Split from: Player's idea box

The other thing is that I have like 8 copies of NWN. It is installed on about 6 computers, so if it is local then it will only be on the computer that is being played at the time. A persistent journal would really be nice.

LoS = Line of Sight AoE = Area of Effect (in case it comes up) I would suggest using anything that can do Hold Person or Slow, if you have anything that can do it. I am guessing they would make saves since most are level 60. Seems that Action worlds are quite different. I have played around with he...

IMO: They're breaking combat long enough to enter stealth, it's not really an exploit...it's just stealth :) I have never played a sneaker so that is why I was asking. I would have thought that they would have needed to be out of sight to stealth. If you don't have to be then what is the use of HIP...

Game Engine question

I have let my son start playing a bit on an online world. I have watched him both to see what all goes on there to make sure it is alright for him and also to make sure that he is acting correctly. So far most of it seems fine. A bit of language once in a bit, but not too bad and he is going to hear...

Thanks for the work.

I guess the vaultster has always had me confused. I just assumed it would update the name of the server and area you were on and send the bic over to the other server. Obviously there is more to it than that. :)
