The World of Avlis

Hail, roleplaying fans! We have some big news over at Avlis PW! For the next two weeks we will be removing the password protection from our modules. This open house is geared towards recruiting some serious roleplayers who are interested in an in-depth world. Once the two week open period is over, we will be putting the passwords back on, but anyone can still fill out an application to play as usual. You can even continue whatever characters you started during the open period!



Unfortunately, because of the way our network is set up, we are not visible on Gamespy, so you will have to use Direct Connect. Click on Direct Connect and type in avlis.kicks- ass.net:5124. An IP address is not

needed because the direct connect field will accept a name address too.

* 3 servers with a total of ~875 areas

* Tokenless persistance system

* Player housing with persistant chests

* Lycanthropy and barfighting systems

* 17 death planes, one outer plane for each alignment and alignment tendancy

* Approximately 9250 randomly generated newbie quests are possible (not a typo)

* Participate in the war between the humans of M'Chek and the elves of T'Nanshi. YOUR actions decide the shape of the borders. Join one of their armies and advance in the ranks.

* DM-run quests almost every day, mainly during the evenings (eastern US time and GMT)

* A brand new prototype crafting system that is completely divorced from all Ultima-clone crafting systems

* Informative boards complete with history and IC tavern
