I haven't been to Deglos much but for now I'd say:
that druid circle (?) near Elysia. A beautifull forrest with all those nice animals in it.. very.. uhm.. peacefull.
(now don't go and destroy the scenery because of the war and all.. hehe.. maybe I shouldn't have said this.. )

This just beats the top of Kitanya hill with the waterfall and Kitanya Grove for me.

When it is sunny it is so peaceful, and when it is rainy you can almost feel the wind hammering at you up there on the roof. The rain is like an elemental force as it batters at you and the fires up there seem to offer only the scantest bit of warmth, making you realise the futility of mortals combatting the forces of nature. I've never even turned a skybox on up there. If I did I may well feint.

The second alleyway off of Hutton Street, just off the docks of Mikona.

Got some real nice shadows in there.

Most have been said already but...

The surface village of Bazgamph and mountains of Deglos

Just outside of Cornath in Sena'lae's grove

The Dagroth woods in Elysia

Anyplace with those massive trees in T'Nanshi and Elysia

Forest of Midnight -- spooky, but still has a very unique beauty to it

Moon Tree in Le'Or (even sans Blossom )

Voted T'Nanshi

Walked into Cornath Dru'El for Snow and Elong's wedding and was amazed.. many spots there are wonderful..

Other favorites include the Lifestone near Elysia for sure (I honestly think my character sits there at least an hour every day) and some nice places in LeOr which I cannot name..

Can't say much about Ferrell, Deglos and Mikona though.. rarely come there for IC reasons

What sort of 'Rift' are we talking about? And, what sort of player housing are we talkin' about?

My favorite is the creek in the southlands of Ferrell. Just kind of peaceful with a cute little waterfall, pending the beligerent pickings of AKN comfry users. =)

Secondly...the grove in Ferrell up on the hill. I need to go find some of these other places though.

Over all I'd have to say Ferrell for its Shire-like ambiance, tight, and purposeful level design, and excellent playability. Whoever designed Ferrell knows a thing or two about good game design.

Certain areas of T'Nanshi, especially LeOr, are also just amazing; Like the Fine Arts Museum for instance. A preponderance of huge, repetitive and largely empty areas, though, makes it less compelling for me.

On the bottom of my list comes Deglos. While some of the outdoor areas are nice to look at for sure, having to run through endless linear and/or cork-screw-like tunnels that are largely empty to get there takes away a lot of the fun factor for me.

Going to have to go with TNanshi. Found some nice places that are extremely secluded and some other places not so secluded. Moon Tree and the glade past Summerleaf Farms for one. No longer thrilled by the Druid Lifestone in Elysia because of certain people who use it as a hang out I am trying to avoid  . Ferrel... love the port. I think only bums and beggers could find Mikona beautiful.

Where'd Drotid in this list!? You ain't seen beautiful till you've seen our bubbling swamps with skulls dangling from the trees and hundreds of kobolds scavenging the dead remains of somthing nobody else wanted to eat!

Okay, seriously, I'd vote for the mountains in Deglos first, and then Ferrell. Ferrell is just cool.

For me it is, and always has been Ferrell.
I never can seem to get tired of the custom soundtrack, and my character thinks that the fish taste great!

Just about everything in Ferrell during a sunset or sunrise... Looking down onto the rest of the area in the Heartlands from the tallest hill during a sunset/rise has got to be one of the prettiest things ever... :D

Little Falls Canyon has been the site of my most memorable adventures...
I look fondly of the times when I have tried to get through there to Deglos, knowing full well that any single monster could tear my character to pieces. I gave a little hop of fright every time I saw something, and did much running and hiding...

Not to mention the 6 rl hour trip there with Jand de la Fleur back in July... All the time was spent trying to recover our bodies...

God, I love that place!

Ferrell is most beautiful to me as a whole. The rolling hills, the homey quality of the building, the general atmosphere. It's just about perfect.

Some of my favorite areas include the complete Little Falls - Meygle Pass setup, which is complicated enough to get lost in, even with the minimap activated. I also like the heartlands, because the areas is so very well laid out.

Besides those technical views of areas, ambience is also very important of course. I feel this was achieved very well on the topmost level of the AKN building. Very nice area that is, and not many people have seen it it seems.

On some other servers: ATU in Mikona, Zelvan Dur in Le'Or and Bhazgamp in Deglos also made an impression and have been an inspiration to me.

I'm afraid I'll never learn to appreciate the stretched forests of T'Nanshi, the extensive drylands of M'chek and the long, winding, and above all gloomy tunnels of Deglos. For me they're just a necessary evil to walk through to get to the more interesting bits, and I just don't like large empty areas (I don't count monster spawns as content here).
So much fun,
yet so little time to enjoy it.

The Rift in Ferrell has to strike me as the most starkly beautiful place in Avlis. Haunting, moments of silence and glow and rushes of bitter violence and the shadows themselves becoming alive behind you.... *shudders*

Every server has beautiful locations. Watching the suns set over the hills of Mikona.. the moon rise over the trees of T'Nanshi... the snow fall on the mountains of Deglos as well as the ramping bridges over the chasms there, the view over Port Eridanus, the more secluded spots of the Elysian surrounds.. these precious moments..
Be mindful of the prayers you send
Pray hard but pray with care
For the tears that you are crying now
Are just your answered prayers
