That is sweet. How did arguably the funniest guy in Avlis get blessed with design skills to boot?

agruably the funniest guy in avlis? huh? did i miss something obvious?

(stoertebeker studies design and i study computer science (BA))

Well... the tiles will work as override, yes.
We set the new roofs to fadeable so people get more control over it. We are also correcting texturing errors made by bioware when we see them (there are a lot of 'em)

If people urgently want them we surely could release the actual tiles from time to time. right now i absolutely cannot estimate how long it will take us. We also know that gimlor & co currently work on roofs as you know and we collaborate with them. so it may happen that the final ceilings for the library will look totally different :). Well in that case we could offer the ones done by us as alternate design.

The image you posted with that quote there is what I'm talking about...

The boards not ending at that stone arch up there is what I was talking about. Would be nice to see some boards parallel to that arch with the other boards stopping at that point. Make since?

Just a suggestion, not expecting you to follow it. Just think it would look a little better.

I think i know what you mean. I thought about it. Maybe i should do it, but it means exchanging all ceilings's wood part with the new one.

If i understood you correctly this can be achieved by simply changing the texture a little.
