Not sure who it was exactly, but I ran into a DM quest tonight, a simple little thing. Escort a girl out of the sewers, and back to her mother.

When I said something about the Tao of Senshi, that must of caught the DM's attention, and we spent about 10 min's RP'ing. It was a great deal of fun, and I wanted to thank the DM who did that. It was a nice welcome to this world :)

Props for such good Rping Vanor. The DM's involved were Mikon and Dru'el.

Just a bit of advice, you may want to stay out of the sewers for a level or two, there are some nasties down there. There are plenty of quests to be found from npc's, just try talking to everyone you come across.

Welcome to avlis. It is a work in progress but I must say we have a great team all the way around. If you run into any bugs or problems, or hav eany questions, a post here usually yields a quick response and or solution.

The city of Mikona and it's outlying (and underlying) areas are almost complete, and word is the builders are startign on a wilderness server soon.

Enjoy :).

Well in that case, thanks to Mikon and Dru'el.

And thanks for the advice about the sewers, I honestly had no idea what I'd run into down there. Which actualy made it a ton of fun, more fun then I've had for some time.

I was wandering around down there, never knowing what was behind the next corner. I kept wondering if around the next corner, was something that could squish me in one swipe. That is one nice thing about a place like this, it's not designed for level x-y, so you have to figure there's bound to be stuff you have no chance against. It added a sense of mortality and tension I haven't felt from a cRPG in a Long time.

Yeah there's a definite squoosh factor in wandering around Avlis aimlessly. You need to be careful and travel in numbers if you can. :)
