What's your main PC's primary class?

PostAuthor: kombinat » Thu Jan 06, 2005 5:07 am

Hi folks,

Time for another class poll! Please vote what your main PC's primary class is, as in numerically dominant... the class your main PC has the most levels in. If they have the same levels in two things, pick whichever aspect you feel is dominant for your PC currently. If you can't decide even then, don't vote, but maybe put a comment about it.
If you've no one main PC, just pick one of your chars that you've been playing more of lately.
I'll set the poll to finish in 14 days, as a spot check of the current state of Avlis... let's see if it's much different to the last poll!

Note, had to remove a few options and condense a few (Paladins and Blackguards are grouped under Avlis Holy Warrior) because the number of poll options was too large and not permitted, otherwise. Sorry for anyone left out as a result, please post if that's the case.

Right now Arania's got more levels as a bard but it looks like she'll be moving up in psion levels as well. She's been fascinated with the workings of the mind lately.

Acting Master, Luminous Order Of The Mind

Xzar Nefzen: I don't care, the badgers can eat me!
Arania: Okay guys, we really need to try not to leave a path of bloody destruction behind us.

According to the regular whiners about class balance, it should be 48% wizards/sorcerors, 48% clerics/druids, and then the rest fighters or rogues...lets see shall we...

i still consider myself very new here but had to go with fighter because i assumed avlis would be a bunch of pk-ing punks and i'd need every hp just to survive.

<dripping facetiousness>eerie how right i was</dripping facetiousness>

Wizards of all nations, unite! :D

No, seriously I hope there are not too many arcane users... magic should remain elitist. :)

My main is currently 9/3 wizard/rouge.

3 hours and 25% of the voting population have cast their votes (50 votes, I'm expecting 200 by the end). Interesting, no?

More like a few weeks at this rate.

I'm just waiting for Barbarian to be the least popular of the base classes.
<Sili> I've seen septic tanks with less shit in them than Fuzz.

<Ronnin> damm not even a kiss??
<Chasmania> Kiss Fuzz? I'd rather fellate a goat.

<Chasmania> there are many roads to Rome..they just picked a shit filled alley full of scabby hookers and bums.

The shape of things to come...

Hathgard is level 9 and pure, unadulterated wizard.

Raman is mostly fighter, but he has a few levels of cleric to pull off the "old sailor blessin' boats at the docks" thing when he becomes to old to adventure.

I've been tempted, and even considered. But I think Sion will remain pure ranger of Pelar. Got few others, but lately Sion has been getting most of my attention. Got somehow involved in many player driven plot and some DM plot. :D

LOL i don't know why anyone would think Druids would be anywhere near the top list. Anyone who wants to play one of the weaker classes usually isnt a treehugging hippy lover to begin with and would rather do something else.

Might duelclass if I ever make it past lvl.20... not likely though.

Why am I surprised with the number of fighters?

Everytime I go out adventuring I'm one of only 1 or 2 that don't cast spells. Every time I DM I see EVERYTHING and I don't see that many fighters as number 1 class.

Newbies that have taken fighter initally?

Lots of fighters are actually dual classed with arcane/divine classes.

Most of the votes so far are from Europe where they think differently  :D
