There have been raves for moving the game server to our new host, and recently, the forum upgrade (and its move to our server at the same time, saving a nice bit of $), but I want to rave the person who makes all of the stuff happen behind it. krackq found our new home, set it up for us, and has been tweaking/improving things ever since.

Don't get me wrong. All of the Avlis staff took part in making it happen, all the way down to QA testing the crap out of it (regular players are big part of that too, with the constant feedback, and suggestions). krackq is the person who adds and tweaks things from that input though, and I want to give him a big rave for all of his hard work. Setting up and maintaining all of the various virtual servers we use on our new host is a huge job, and we all appreciate all the work you do to keep it happy for us.

I know this is only changing a setting on one admin page, but it deserves a rave for doing it. Being able to search for 3 letters minimum instead of 4 makes a huge difference, especially when Avlis is all about those 3 letter acronyms for everything. I'm not sure when this was changed (fairly recently I think), but I just noticed it today, so happy, happy, joy, joy!
