Shadow Evade Dispell-able

PostAuthor: Trigger » Sat Jan 09, 2016 8:57 am

Hi, so I was trying to demonstrate that Shadow Dancing is not magic, and to do so I had a mage attempt to dispell my shadow evade, imagine my embarrassment when it worked!

So my question is; is Shadow Dancing and the skills it uses considered magic? Or is this a game mechanic issue due to the way the skills are implemented in game?

If Shadow Dancing is not magic, obviously Shadow Evade, Shadow Daze and Summon Shadow should not be affected by spells or abilities that block or remove magic effects. If it is magic, then I have been playing my character incorrectly for 10 years or so and I need to rethink my life.

Your answer is very much appreciated.

The mage used a Rod of Cancellation, I think, to dispell. Mage was Vincent Morris, Shadow Dancer was Eleanor.
